How to make western hide sandals?

I am trying to figure out where to buying items to make the western cowhide sandals with stones and studs. Got any info for me?

I am just getting started on these today...I now have all of my supplies, but I"m not even sure how to make them exactly. It's gonna take some trial and error I bet!LOL


I bought some cowhide remnants on Ebay, got 3 large pieces for about $40. Then I went to WM and bought the BeJeweler and over to Michael's for rhinestones and studs. Found the sandals at Target.
