You don't want to wear items that jingle or items that would restrict movement or scratch against your skin when you move.

As far as wanting to look fashionable in your class, I see nothing wrong with that. If anything, it will contribute to you having a positive attitude about yourself.

From the items you have mentioned:

Toe rings - completely fine, ones that contain crystals have a positive energy and are actually beneficial to wear

Anklets - as long as they are soft, no large beads or bells, simple twine and hemp are best and will help your chi

Barefoot sandals - fine as long as they are soft and non abrasive, muted and natural colors are best

I've seen a lot of people wearing toe rings and thin, handmade anklets in yoga classes. I think they help out with spirituality. I disagree with those stating that they have no place in doing yoga.
Reply:no b/c it may jingle or something and make noise which would distract everyone♥
Reply:it depends on what your level is and why not just ask her if wearing foot jewelry cool
Reply:All the items you've mentioned should be ok to wear.
Reply:do you go to Yoga class to show off or to be lean and trim there is a place for everything
Reply:I actually make jewelry including ankle bracelets and some yoga studios are selling them for me. So ankle bracelets are fine. I'll keep mine on for months at a time.

As for toe rings, as long as you are used to them and they cannot catch on anything, it is fine. If you aren't used to them, it can distract from your practice.

As far as barefoot sandals, again, if you are used to them it's fine, but I find that when I wear them, I am very much aware that they are there. You want to feel as grounded to the earth as possible without anything interfering and while in meditation you don't want to be distracted by something pinching your toes. If when you're wearing them you feel totally barefoot-then go for it!

Enjoy your practice!
Reply:It depends on what exactly you wear......

like my mother, loves anklets, and gold foot jewelry.

I think you can wear an anklet to yoga class as long as it does not make any noise. Heard good things aboutboth
Both will be great resorts. I would also suggest Breezes Runaway Bay (it re-opened last month after a massive renovation), and Club Ambiance (said to be the best bargain in Jamaica.) Both of those also have a "no kids" policy. Oh, Breezes no longer has the au natural beach area.

You can research all of these resorts, and many many more, at TripAdvisor.com. Just type in the resort name in the search area and trip reports written by previous visitors will be available. You can also see "candid traveler photos" and ask questions in the "forums" section. It is a tremendous resource for researching your trip.

The most important decision for your honeymoon will be the resort you choose. For that reason decide what you want in a resort and choose from there.

Just an aside: if you feel like walking on the wild side, Breezes offers free day or night trips to Hedonism III which is located about a mile away.
Reply:i am a jamaican and i am still in jamaica and i suggest Sandals though all of them on the western strip are like heavennnnnn. sandals here is the much talked about the creme de la creme

i don't have to post you no websites. me a tell yuh di real deal a Sandals
Reply:i would suggest sandals
Reply:I WOULD STAY AT SANDALS.
Reply:Congrats. We went with another couple and really enjoyed it. It was all of the things you mentioned. There were lots of activities and dining choices, but you could also do nothing and hang out pool or beach side. Everything was meticulously clean, and the employees were courteous. All of the rooms have ocean front balconies, and it's nice to order breakfast and have it on your balcony. Of course, I also recall getting a very good price on the trip because we booked it before they were even open. The only drawback is that it's a 45 minute or so bus ride from the airport. I don't know if Ochos Rios is closer. Sorry that I can't help you with Couples. Enjoy your honeymoon!
Reply:I've heard very good things about Sandals, I've never heard of Couples. I know you have to have a lot of money to stay at sandals. Any experience/advice?

Girls! Is it possible to only go barefoot/wear sandals and still have pretty feet?
Yes. My sister is usually barefoot indoors. Actually, always barefoot. Her feet are really nice-looking and they look perfectly fine. In the summer, my sis wears only sandals. Her feet are still small and dainty.

So don't worry, your feet are going to be fine.
Reply:The word is pedicure! You can find salons that will do it pretty cheap. The trick is to get a spa pedicure, where they scrub your feet and trim the skin. Plus, they will paint some cute designs on your big toes. Be careful and ask how much everything is ahead of time, they will try to get more business out you by adding things!
Reply:Yes, keep a foot scrub in the shower and use it everday. Lotion your feet after you shower everyday. Once a month get a pedicure w/ parafin wax.
Reply:yes you can just take really good care of them
Reply:ONLY with regular pedicures, the skin on the bottom of your feet gets all jacked up and nasty! I am barefoot ALL the time, but I go for a complete pedicure EVERY two weeks!
Reply:If you're careful where you walk at.
Reply:My feet ain't pretty, but I'm thankful that they're tough, cause recently I stepped on a HUGE piece of glass, and if it hadn't been for the hard soles of my feet, I would've been hurt a lot more than I would've expected.

Just saying that looks aren't always the best...
Reply:well, my friend likes to go barefoot/wear sandals wherever she goes (driving, walking to a friend's house, etc) and her feet are usually dirty looking and messed up. Her heals most of the time look dry and calloused. One time she got a pedicure and her feet still looked messed up so you take the info and gather your own evidence.
Reply:It's fine. The only danger is if you never wore shoes for your formative years. Your feet would be bigger than 'normal'.
Reply:one word sister... pedicure. :) u can dooo it! :)
Reply:O.K I'm not female, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! And no,I have no fetish!
Reply:yeah its possible just wash them daily and take good care of them
Reply:Well, from what I've noticed, women that wear sandals or flip-flops all the time, their heels tend to dry out and crack and look like crap. And if you never wear shoes outside; well, that's self-explanatory.
Reply:Yes,I do it all the time.
Reply:we all got to take the good with the bad
Reply:Well if you take care of your feet, yes. if you give yourself pedis then you'll be able to maintain the "prettiness" of your feet. Even if it doesn't work out, no one really looks at your feet anyways.
Reply:no! i HATE shoes and go barefoot outside and in my house and when i go somewheres, only flip flops and now my heels are stained and cracked i always have to go and get my feet done!

kofficeRichardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15986194432408916264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8609220554619086466.post-88898885264098345162010-03-17T04:11:00.000-07:002010-03-17T04:11:00.207-07:00Women only - What do you all think of these sandals for a 29 year old? Then I attempted wearing in public and of course got ridiculed about it. These were done of course by other guys.

So why did I get ridiculed then about wearing sandals?
are you wearing them in the snow or with socks? if not then i think you are just being a bit paranoid.
Reply:Dude, where on earth do you live?
Reply:Dude, wear them sandals! It's a real bummer since summer is near. So if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to solve this problem w/o neccessarily getting rid of the sandals. Thanks to any and everyone that might have an answer or suggestion!

Is there a remedy for stinky feet caused by a pair of Sandals?
Fabreeze, baby!
Reply:SOX
Reply:Dont let your sandals get wet!!!

That is the main reason why sandals stink
Reply:get rid of the sandals
Reply:Yes, stop wearing the sandals.
Reply:Try washing them both your sandals %26amp; your feet
Reply:I rotate the shoes I wear. When a pair gets smelly I spray them out with Lysol disinfecting spray and let them air out for a day, works great!
Reply:I can relate. The only thing that seems to help is to apply anti-perspirant to the soles of the feet, let them dry and then apply to the insoles of the sandals and let them dry. Do this everytime you wear these sandals. It has helped me with my own favorite black sandals!

hair careRichardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15986194432408916264noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8609220554619086466.post-71269230250311924562010-03-17T04:09:00.002-07:002010-03-17T04:09:39.209-07:00Have you gotten andy cute and fashionable but comfortable sandals this year? I'm always wearing my kennth cole reaction flip flop because they are so comfortable but my husband hates them cause they make too much noise. Just wondering how many nights we should stay. We want to be able to enjoy our stay, but not get bored. Any suggestions?

What is a good length of stay at a Sandals Resort?
5 to 7 days should be enough. believe me you will not want to leave there when its done though. sandals resort is a beautiful place.
Reply:I would say about 6 nights or so. The first day you arrive is pretty much gone as you are tired from travelling. Then that gives you 5 full days to do different things. I used to work at Sandals Whitehouse and it is a fabulous property. I would suggest you check out what daily tours they have leaving the resort and see if you can pre-book a few. That way you already have an idea of what you will do each day. I recommend going to Mayfield Falls and also doing the horseback riding tour that allows you to go in the sea with the horses. If you like rum you can do the Appleton Rum tour and see how the different types of rum are made, sample them and get to purchase onsite also. The Black River safari tour is also nice as you get to go up the river and see the different wildlife especially the crocodiles and see the tour guide feed them when them come up to the boat. Sounds scary but its fun!

You may not choose to leave the property everyday because in fact there are different things you can do on site also. For example you can both have a couples day at the spa. The treatments are to die for and the atmosphere is very serene. They also have the different specialty restaurants so make sure you set it up so each night you can dine at a different one whether the Italian or Asian or Caribbean restaurants. If you love the beach then you will be fine as the water is nice and the beach is like half a mile long. There is also an entertainment committe that have different games and activities going on all day by the pool for prizes etc competing against other couples. At night there are different bands and performers that will come in and do a show that lasts until like 10 or 11pm.

One more suggestion, see if you can book a private candlelight dinner by the beach. It is to die for. you will have your own server to serve you at your pace, both of you sitting on the sand under the stars, a menu of your choice.... I think when it's time to go you will be sorry to leave. I hope you enjoy your trip.
Reply:my wife %26amp; I go to Jamaica every May for our Anniversary ( this will be 9 straight years to Jamaica %26amp; it's our 23rd Anniversary ) . We usually go for 5 days %26amp; 4 nights , but this year we are going for the entire week . I would suggest 5 days %26amp; 4 nights , but also try to plan on a vacation EVERY year to celebrate your anniversary , it keeps your marriage strong %26amp; makes the date that much more special . Please email me ( gerry@snapshottravelagency.com ) and give me additional details ( exact dates , departure airport , budget , etc. ) and let me put together a vacation package that will meet %26amp; exceed your expectations .... Regards , Gerry Donnelly , Snapshot Travel
Reply:10 days ! That's more than enough. If you stay any longer you won't want to leave. Jamaica is a very hard place to leave you get so distracted by the beauty that you want to stay. Don't worry you won't get bored. Jamaica is never boring. Something is always going on so the resort will keep you and your husband occupied.
Reply:we just got back from Sandals Bahamas for honeymoon.. we stayed 5 nights,, I would say 4-5 is plenty enough..I would go with 4!

We loved it!!! There are some anti-spyware and anti-virus programs that prevents a program from connecting to the internet unless the user gives it permission. You probably need to give the game permission to access the internet.

CATRichardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15986194432408916264noreply@blogger.com0
