I see that sandals are kind of religious. You read about people who wear sandals in the bible and such. If we really want to follow religion, shouldn't we be wearing sandals wherever we go like the people from the bible and such?

Following a religion doesn't require dressing as those in the past did. We'd have to go a lot further than wearing sandals.
