Breezes Montego Bay in Jamaica? (vs. Sandals Montego Bay)?

We're choosing an April 2008 honeymoon destination - has anyone stayed in Breezes Montego Bay? I want to stay there because it is cheaper than Sandals - but I also want a good experience. We're not picky, we just want a safe, all-inclusive hotel on a nice beach, a modest room, and some fun activities. I am probably going to opt for Breezes, I just want to make sure no one has been robbed or poisoned there, or had some other horrible experience??? Is the beach nice? Do you think it will be crowded in April?

Breezes Montego Bay in Jamaica? (vs. Sandals Montego Bay)?
Hi

I haven't stayed at either. However my daughter is getting married in Montego Bay at Christmas. We checked out Breezes on tripadvisor.com. The reviews were not very good. When 60-70 people out of 100, are telling you to run for the hills, I usually take their advice. Of course I realize some people are never happy, but looking at the numbers of unhappy people we changed our mind %26amp; have booked in to Royal Decameron Montego. The reviews overall have been pretty good.
Reply:We're choosing an late April 2008 vaction in Breezes Montego Bay? i've read a few review on www.tripadvisor.com keep looking around but from what i hear the breese montego bay or royal decameron are not to bad Report It

Reply:Sandals Monbay borders the airport runway...the noise is horrible...don't know about Breezes...reviews arent that good.
Reply:Just like the election in Jamaica on september 3rd too close to call even
Reply:I have been to Breezes in Runaway Bay in Jamaica. That place was great. I would avoid Montego Bay as the traffic, and plane noise is sometimes pretty bad. Either way though, Jamaica is about as cool a place to vacation as you will find. Yeah Mon!
