How do I keep my sandals from smelling bad?

My feet and sandals smell really bad because I started wearing them alot. They started stinking really bad. Why did they suddenly start smelling bad? I thought fresh air was supposed to help, but it looks like it doesn't. And how do I keep them from smelling bad?

it smells really bad, i know , coz i been in that kind of situation. i consult wid a doc. coz i feel it effect my skin. its all about ur feet u may visit daily to a dusty place or u dnt wash regularly. solution is that spray ur sandals wid an anti bacterial liquid put them in warm sunlight for 3 to 4 hours then wash then wid warm water. every night put ur feet in warm water mixed with 250 grams of salt.do this for 10 to 15 min. every night......after a week u will surely get rid of this smell........its all that a dermatologist told me. avoid creams or lotions or perfumes coz they r not much effective then this...
Reply:Try to clean your feet and your sandals. You might have foot fungus.
Reply:WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF FOR THE NIGHT SPRAY THEM WITH LYSOL SPRAY.THAT KILLS ALL BACTERIA WHICH MAKE THEM SMELL.

Reply:Try buying sandals that have a leather surface that contacts your foot. It helps to keep down on moisture which usually causes the odor and they are pretty comfortable. Old Navy sells them for around $15-20 so they're pretty cheap.

Reply:its probably got allot to do with what the sandles are made from,and its haveing a reaction to your feet.
Reply:It is because they are open and you are getting dirt and other "stuff" in there, that does not accumulate when you wear shoes and socks.





Try cleaning them good. If that doesn't work,....toss them and buy a new pair.
