How can I soften my new leather sandals?

I just bought a new pair of leather sandals and after wearing them one time they wore blisters on my toes. How can I soften the leather a bit so they will be more comfortable?

How can I soften my new leather sandals?
as long as they are not a naked leather that would stain, apply a good leather conditioner to them and then sit watching your favourite TV show working the leather with your hands in the flex points and where they hurt you. " Milling" the fibers helps loosen then up. One show per shoe and you should have then a good deal more comfy.

Hope this helps

Reply:I do it the bad way.. I fold them up and stomp on them, but probably some softener.... from the store.
