I'm flying tomorrow and thinking of wearing sandals. Is that a good idea?

I'm flying tomorrow in Florida, and I'm wondering if I should wear sandals. I'm thinking it will make it easier in security and stuff like that. Are there any problems I should be aware of?

???? you wear what you want but i do think you should some wear some tennis shoes or sandals with socks because it can be chilly on a airplane!! but i hope you have fun and safe trip to Florida!!
Reply:Planes can get pretty cold, so if you are ok with having cold toes there should be no problems.
Reply:I would say it isnt a problem. Many people wear sandals on the plane.
Reply:I live in Florida and it is warm here so that is one reason you should wear them. A reason not to is that when you go through security, you have to take your shoes off and walk on that nasty floor that about 10,000 other people walked on that day. They do have those doctor shoe covers to go on your feet if you don't want to walk on the nasty carpet. So I would suggest sandals but make sure you ask for the footies.....you don't want to be dirty boy.

Some people feet swell so sandals are better to wear.
