What happened to cheap (less than $10) Velcro sandals?

You used to be able to find these at stores like Kmart, Walmart, and the like. They would only last about one summer, but you get what you pay for. They had a Velcro strap around the ankle and one just below the toes. I can't find them anymore! I found one pair at Walmart last year, but they were in toddler sizes. I've searched online, but can only find really expensive sandals. Do these cheap versions still exist?

those shoes used to be the s*** when i was younger.

don't think i'd like them so much now though (i prefer flip flops). i have seen them in our walmart though. they should be getting to yours soon.
Reply:Oh gosh, I hope they discontinued those! Sorry.
Reply:velcro, yuck! if you wanna do comfortable shoes that are worth the money i'd go to payless and get the airwalk version of crocs.
Reply:I saw them last year. Maybe they aren't in the stores yet. I like those kind for kids. They outgrow them by the next year anyway so I don't care if they fall apart at the end of summer!
Reply:Yup. They're just not QUITE in season yet. Keep watching...and they will come. ; )
Reply:Yes, they do, where in the world is your Wal Mart located at? At the wal marts here they have those sandals right in the middle aisle as you pass the shoe section. They are in black and red and also brown and black lots of them. I like those type also. I wear them with the walmart wrangler jeans.
