So why did I get ridiculed then about wearing sandals?

I am the guy who has asked before how to overcome the fear of buying sandals, so I bought some, and there were some people who laughed about it as they passed by me. Then I attempted wearing in public and of course got ridiculed about it. These were done of course by other guys.

So why did I get ridiculed then about wearing sandals?
are you wearing them in the snow or with socks? if not then i think you are just being a bit paranoid.

The guys making fun can't be very fashionable because sandals can make a guy looked relaxed and laid back sir! I'm a woman and I think men look sexy in sandals have some fun and don't worry about people laughing as they pass. Why would you take the opinion of such a rude person anyways?

someone will ask if my feet don't get cold...I tell them no....
