Can you possibly drive with wedge sandals?

My girlfriend often wears cork wedge sandals. But she also keeps them for driving. I told her I find that quite dangerous (the shoes must be around 4'' high), but she won't listen.

Can you really drive with this sort of footwear?? Isn't it too dangerous?

Can you possibly drive with wedge sandals?
Generally, wearing high heels and wedge sandals while driving is considered dangerous. Here's a link to a study from an Aussie newspaper; perhaps she will reconsider if she reads it. And it may be convenient to know there are no laws against driving barefoot; she can just take them off %26amp; won't have to change footwear and carry another pair of shoes along.
Reply:You can but not really the best decision. Same with some stillettos. usually if the shoes don't have straps or buckles I take mine off and just drive barefoot.
Reply:I have no problem to drive with them, your girlfriend should be very careful if she is having problems to drive with them.
Reply:Yeah, that does seem a little senseless. You'd never know exactly how much pressure you were putting on the pedal and then that'd be messed up. I don't know, maybe it's a skill you need to master and she's mastered it. Yet again, I don't even wear sandals, so I don't know.
